After graduating from Kings' College London in 2012 I worked in a team caring for women with complex medical, obstetric and social needs at one of the busiest maternity units in central London. For the last few years, since the birth of my first child, I have primarily worked as a labour ward midwife.
I absolutely love my job, making a difference to people’s lives and guiding them on their incredible journey.
In 2017 I gave birth to my daughter and whilst pregnant I attended local antenatal classes with my husband. After our experience and doing some research into local antenatal education options, it became evident that there was a place for me in the community. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge as both a midwife and mother and therefore decided to develop my own classes tailored to meet the needs of expectant parents.
In the summer of 2019 I joined in partnership with Chloe, a very lovely local hypnobirthing practitioner and together we developed and launched Hello Baby antenatal classes. In addition to the classes I also offer private antenatal and postnatal care as well as breastfeeding support.
I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and I am also a member of the Royal College of Midwives. I am qualified in midwifery high dependency care and also neonatal life support. I attend annual training to ensure that my skills and knowledge are up-to-date. I am insured with the Royal College of Nursing to offer my services.
I am an avid list maker, enjoy exercising and can usually be found curled up on the sofa with some chocolate and my two cats.
